Distribution
Endemic to north new guinea.
Description
Unusual and striking “bumble bee” colors. Olive brown on back and wings. Yellow forehead and band of yellow spreading from lores and around the lower beak and throat to resemble a well-trimmed beard. Bend of wing and under wing, inner thighs and base of some chest feathers yellow, beak and leggs are black, iris brown and rump is violet-blue.

Loud two-toned call, also a screech witch is not persistent
